With Avenger’s: Endgame soon coming out on April 26th of 2019, which we are just a week from, I thought I should do a list now that kinda suited it. I predict this movie is going to be very epic, so I will make a top ten most epic superhero movies list. With that being said, here is it.
1. Avengers: Endgame
Not my favorite, but still good. Fat Thor was a great addition, and the final battle was beyond epic
Ahh yes, spending three hours watching this made me realize a lot of things. One I must’ve had a lot of time on my hands, and two the movie was what we have been waiting for since Iron Man. All the movies led up to this! It was pretty epic for the most part, even if hulk wanted to go hippie on us and not fight.
This film es EPIC with capital letters.
Seeing all marvel heroes together in one shot Is something don’t see everyday
Endgame was hands down the best superhero movie I’ve ever watched in my life. It was sad, heartwarming, the fight scenes were amazing, and the characters were lovable. If you haven’t seen it yet, I advise you to.
2. Avengers: Infinity War
Personally, I like IW better than Endgame. Endgame felt too forced, as if the Russos were trying to get rid of the characters after their actors’ contracts ended. And the time travel logic was flawed.
Obviously. I don’t need to say much about this one. It’s the movie that all the previous movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe were setting up for. After nearly twenty movies of introducing tons and tons of characters to set up this “final” battle, this movie was released. And it’s definitely so far the most epic marvel movie that I so far have seen. With all the battles and intensity and the climax, this one is high up on the list.
We wouldn’t have Endgame without Infinity War, so there’s that. The movie set up the mission and the plot very nicely.
I know Endgame has come out and that movie is quite epic as well but there’s just something so well done about infinity war that I am not able to really get over it. I think the action scenes were good and really showed what Thanos was capable of and the ending did really well to subvert expectations.
An excellent movie and in my opinions still a lot better than Endgame, which had too many pacing issues(still an excellent farewell to the Avengers)
3. The Dark Knight
the masterpiece of all masterpieces this movie is so good that when I got up my body was shaking from the intensity. heath ledger did an amazing job as the joker and Christian bale did a good job too as the batman. Hanz Zimmer’s terrifying yet simple score also really took this movie to the next level. But let’s not forget the director, every scene, in my opinion, was absolutely perfect not one thing bad about. The brutality put into the role, I mean heath ledger asked to be punched in the face. Also, let’s pay our respects to heath ledger who left our world too soon. Even though infinity war and endgame had good acting and good directors it is pretty overrated compared to this masterpiece of a movie.
I know I’m not the only one who liked Batman in this movie. The Joker was amazing, but so was Batman. I also feel like I’m the only one who likes both this and Endgame.
Dark Knight and Endgame are really close together for me… but I think Infinity War is super overrated.
This film will be dislodged from its number one position with other overrated, media-hyped movies. There are classic films down there which ought to be in the top ten, however, they are not popular and voters, of course, tend to vote for the one they watched. Epic?
4. The Avengers
This is my favorite Avengers movie and it also has comedy in it.
Loki was great in this movie. So it was hulk. I highly recommend it
It was a pretty great movie, mainly involving the introduction of the ‘Avengers Initiative’ and the original 6 Avengers. Also, in the post-credit scene, the introduction of a magenta-pink Thanos, though he turned the color of a grape as the movies went on!
Average for today’s standards, but great for its time.
5. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
I love how it’s a one-shot story so you don’t need to watch any other film to appreciate it. It looks good, it’s funny, there is a lot of heart, was a real tear-jerker, had great action, and was a great unintentional goodbye gift for Stan Lee. You couldn’t make a better Spider-Man film.
I LOVED this movie, but to be honest, maybe it should not be above Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
It’s a very imaginative and creative film. The visuals were stunning as well. It definitely deserves the praise and the acclaim it gets.
6. Thor: Ragnarock
The absolute best Marvel movie! I can’t wait for Love and Thunder!
Just the humor in this movie, it’s so good!
Duh, obviously. It’s “Ragnarok”. The doom of Asgard. How can that not be epic? While it’s not actually as dark as you might think due to the massive amount of humor and jokes that are generally pretty good in my opinion I gotta say that the stuff that’s epic, truly is epic. Like the final battle for example. That’s some pretty good stuff I must say. And the character of Hela has tons of epic moments as well.
Hela: Who are you the god of again, brother?
Thor: I am the god of…
I really like this movie, but the comedy parts are a bit too many.
7. Black Panther
Really clever how they mixed African cultures with space-age technology
This should be right behind the overrated Avengers endgame but still good to be better than this
This movie was boring they were just sulking around it is so bad
WAKANDA 4 EVER, MORE LIKE what WE BORING SO YAY
This movie was so diverse and open I could tell that marvel was trying to be open minded while making the film.
8. Iron Man
This movie started everything, and it is probably the movie least people understand. It has a great meaning, but some people don’t like it because there isn’t much action. But action isn’t EVERYTHING PEOPLE!
This should be higher. It was then a movie that started everything!
This was the first Marvel movie I have ever watched!
Where the MCU began, and best final line in a movie,
9. Guardians of the Galaxy
The old music and humor in this movie are just the best!
The first movie of the best Marvel trilogy, can’t wait for vol. 3!
Like the infinity stone in peters hand
I love Chris Pratt.
10. Wonder Woman
Yeah in my sorta surprising but yet not so surprising opinion this movie just easily takes the first spot on the list. It’s one of my favorite movies of all time, and one of my favorite DC movies of all time, as it juts nails everything. Yeah, the beginning is sorta slow and boring but it quickly gets better and better. Tons of character development, nothing is rushed, and it’s gloriously epic. This movie knows how to be epic. The soundtrack really helps it as it feels so heroic just listening to it, and included in one of the best final battles ever, it just becomes glorious. Aside from the final battle, the other battles and action scenes are pretty awesome as well. So this one’s at the top for me.
The first time we had a superhero movie made about a female and they pulled off something great! This movie is probably what inspired Marvel to turn Captain Marvel into a women and Ghost from Ant-man and the Wasp into a women!
See, I accept I am a Marvel fan but I always try to see the positive in DCEU movies too, but Wonder Woman had a little disappointment in it. Still a good movie.
What I tried to watch this but fell asleep in the middle and indidnt really find it interesting.
